Am I to understand that Vivec's pauldrons and loincloth are models that could be assigned to new player created armor? I thought they were part of his model, specific to him.

Day or two of intense play. Still a couple quests I missed, I'd say I finished 80% of the content. At that level, probably 20 hours. More If I had been weaker and had to build up a bit to kill off some of the more dangerous opponents.

Ripped through Tribunal at level 40 / 42 and then went back to Morrowind - to get started on Caius Cossades' quests.

Level 42, finished Tribunal and just starting the main quest. The first guy that stands between you and the dwemer box?

My view of Vivec didn't change; but I've yet to talk to him directly and see if he has something new to say.
