Haha no, I did... let's see...

Fable III (not worth the entire summer I dedicated to that game, haha)
System Shock 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Legend of Grimrock
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition (just the added parts)

Again, I now work close to full time so I don't have time for walkthroughs ...

Geneforge is a great series, along with Avernum. The problem is that these games are absolutely huge and covering them would be a massive undertaking - remember that one game walkthrough can easily take 500-1000 hours of work, and there are five games in the Geneforge series, six in Avernum.

If ...

That sounds interesting. I'm still waiting to board the SSD train because all the cheap options have relatively poor performance, and capacity and speed have mostly remained stagnant for the last 1.5-2 years, which is kind of upsetting. I realize businesses have to calculate investment and risk, and ...

How about just giving regulars the ability to semi-delete posts/threads with the stipulation of "spam-only"?

i.e. posts deleted are removed from view, and then you can poll-through later to see if they are genuine spam or not. If not - replace post and rescind that ability from the regular that ...

Agreed, I kinda missed the boat the first time around but I am really, really excited now that the gameplay video is out. For 10 months and around $2 million the game is a great accomplishment.

Sounds like it could be a mod conflict. I would uninstall any mods you might have and try again.

Thirst beta released

Hi everyone,

My long-in-development Dragon Age: Origins campaign, Thirst is now effectively content complete and available for beta testing. This beta is designed to gain feedback from players, to fix any outstanding bugs, and to make tweaks and changes based on suggestions.

Thirst is a 10-20 ...

I have not been impressed with the Enhanced Edition. The new UI does not match the original game's art style at all, the new cutscenes are poorly done and look like cheap Flash animations, the new features are minor at best, and playing fullscreen stretches the image so you end up with a blurry ...

Nope. Apparently everyone wants their Viking wonderlands to be populated with naked anime characters. Welcome to the Elder Scrolls mod community, they've got mods for every possible fetish imaginable but can't be bothered to improve upon the game mechanics.

It should work, but don't be surprised if you encounter glitches. I don't know how the game handles plot progress 100%, but I expect it's simply a variable for each quest update - if any of those were changed by Tutu the base game may not know how to handle them properly.

So, maybe make a backup ...

Are you running the GOG version or the original disc version, or some other version? This game engine is old and buggy when it comes to modern software and hardware so errors like this are not surprising to see.

The solution is not that tough. You have to direct the flame trail using the tiles on the floor. The flame will travel from tile to tile in the direction the arrow points. The flame trail must reach the marked end point on the floor. It's just a matter of "rotating" the floor tiles until you get ...

The point of potions is that you are supposed to prepare for fights in advance (more similar to the books). However, they generally do not last very long so you might want to get a mod that doubles or triples potion duration.

Thanks Sear,

How do I find the new content without playing the whole game again??
You will get the chance to play the new bonus campaigns when you start the game (they are entirely separate from the main one, you don't use the same save files etc.). The new content in the main game itself simply ...

I understood that there was to be new content with the enhanced edition. Am I wrong???
No. The Enhanced Edition comes with two bonus campaigns that are about 1-2 hours each and feature full voice acting. It also has a lot of fixes like faster load times, re-balanced combat, etc. Some dialogue was ...

I've thought and written a lot on progression systems in games, but primarily I am interested in progression that is meaningful. The classic RPG staple is simply more hit points, mana and damage, but that itself isn't enough to keep leveling or gameplay itself interesting for a very long time.

A ...

I love dungeon crawlers like Icewind Dale, provided they have enough variety. The big advantage of an open world game is that you can choose what to do, where to go, and when, which means they tend to be much less monotonous, at least for a little while.

Still, for games with a combat focus I ...

I have doubts whether this will ever come out, but either way the amount of dedication shown just by getting this far is incredible. Still, there's a reason they haven't released even the first 25% after 4 years... they're literally remaking a full game, and we all know how that went for the Black ...
