I want to talk about Geneforge series 1-5 which is one of the most epic rpg series Ive seen. I just finished Geneforge 1 this time with a solo guardian and it was one of the most original rpgs Ive played through. Its very much like Baldurs Gate except its full turnbased. Other than that, its got the best from baldurs gate. Wanna go party? Sure. Wanna go solo? It can be done. Its also been compared to Fallout 1 and 2 which are original games as well.
I sent 2 emails to administrators and I got nothing back except 1. Im hoping that this is the next addition as although the graphics aren't best, there are a number of games on here that share that same trait.
If you are like me and love the oldschool look/style of some of the earlier infinity engine games, you might be worth giving these a chance.
My main mission is to get Geneforge series on gamebansee rpg list. That would be awesome. If you haven't heard of them you can get them for $10 on good old games.

I think the main problem would be the traffic such sub-forum would get. Don't take me wrong, I love Geneforge series, but it is somewhat unknown series, which would mean not much traffic to dedicated forum.
Lack of traffic has been, after all, the major reason why lots of games have lost their own dedicated sub-forum, or those have been merged, during the years I have been here.
One possibility could be to create dedicated sub-forum for all Spiderweb games, perhaps that would attract enough traffic?

Geneforge is a great series, along with Avernum. The problem is that these games are absolutely huge and covering them would be a massive undertaking - remember that one game walkthrough can easily take 500-1000 hours of work, and there are five games in the Geneforge series, six in Avernum.
If anyone wants to volunteer, by all means, contact Buck about it, however, it's not exactly something that can be done overnight, and personally I don't have the time anymore to write walkthroughs despite having done a few for the site in the past.

The main question is is it possible? Avernum is much bigger than Geneforge games. Geneforge 3-5 are bigger than 1-2. The main thing is how big is the main quest and then how big are everything combined. Ive only completed G1 and Im currently on G2 so I wouldn't know about others.
I think that if Eschalon can be done so can these games. Thank you for the games that you have done. Im glad enough that they did some of the ones that I didn't thin could get done. If you did eschalon then you are awesome, if not they you still rock for making this site even better than it already is

Haha no, I did... let's see...
Fable III (not worth the entire summer I dedicated to that game, haha)
System Shock 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Legend of Grimrock
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition (just the added parts)
Again, I now work close to full time so I don't have time for walkthroughs anymore, but I do reviews, previews and news updates where I can. Good to hear someone appreciates the work, thanks!
