This guide helped me to find the solution. I have found the necessary dialogue line that tells Nordom that The Nameless One is the new Director of the maze. I had to temporarily kick out Morte and Fall-From-Grace out of the party so they couldn't interfere with the dialogue.

The Evil Wizard Construct was killed by my party before I found Nordom. If I reset the maze, will it respawn again?
