Yes I did. Actually it wasn't all that hard. I had already done WK + Underdark and visited them just before the final encounter with Irenicus when my whole party was pretty high lvl and had HLA's. By this time they all had really low Saving throws and awesome resistances from their gear, HLA's...etc ...

In the Underdark did you disguise as Drow or just crusade through and kill all the drow? On the way back you should wipe out that nest of thieves on the docks.

Just a couple of suggestions:
Minsc should totally be a barbarian (as a general rule), but I'd keep him as a two-handed weapon user. Swords not words!

I've decided to create a new party with a fighter/cleric multi as PC. I'd really like him to be a priest of lathander/fighter. I know you need SK to do so but now I've tried and it doesn't seem to work. It does say "Priest of Lathander" in the charscreen but he doesn't get the special abilities ...

Well I'd like to add that soloing is, imho, way easier. I just soled the game with a lvl13 kensai/mage and once your mage hits a certain lvl (for me it was around 20) everything becomes ridiculously easy. I have the tactics mod installed and the poison encounter outside WK gave my full 6 party a ...

But then you'll also have to launch BG2 as an administrator which 1) made the graphics of the game kinda buggy and 2) made all the save-games I had from before (from when I launched it as non administrator) disappear.

Where did you install BG2? Make sure you didn't install it under the programs86 ...

well I've traveled several times thorugh Alktahla now but the guy didn't show up. I'll be setting sail to Spellhold now. Well at least Jaheira won't leave the party then. Although I would have liked to get the ring of acuity and the Harpers pin for her. Well, though luck I guess.

Well, thanks for the clarifications. So maybe I'll shave a few points off INT if needed but, as I said, I like to roleplay a bit so I'm not entirely comfortable with having a sorceror that is as "intelligent" as Minsc.
