The manuals help, and[url="http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/2203.html?type=1"]these excellent FAQs by Dan Simpson[/url] help as well. Look for the AD&D rules and 3rd Edition Ruleset. Icewind Dale II uses 3rd edition, the other games (BG, IWD, ...) uses AD&D (a.k.a. 2nd Edition) rules ...

Great, GP! And I noticed that the value in brackets decreases when I buy items. I suppose that is the amount of items remaining in the shop, which are countable, right?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm totally new to the D&D based games ...

Which language is the game in? Italian? If so, providing a screenshot might help.
Oh sure, I didn't think of the language the game is in: anyway italian, so it probably stands for Monete D'oro (MD) that means Golden Coins. I catch a screenshot like you suggested:

MD stats

Hi everybody, first I've got to tell you that I'm italian and my english is very bad, then I ask you to forgive my big mistakes. I have chosen this board because I didn't find an italian one.
