I know you are supposed to be able to upload your BGI character to start BGII, and when you do I imagine you get the stats that your BGI character had when you imported them or whatever (minus stats that are enhanced by things like the gloves of dexterity, obviously).

At this point I may just suck it up and do that. I've been banging my head against a wall trying to fix this for a few hours now...and I've been meaning/wanting to play ToB for years.
$9.99 is a small price to pay if it works.

I'm having a similar problem. I got the old 4-disc version of SoA years ago and I've enjoyed popping it in once a year or so to play. Recently I decided to buy the 4-in-1 box set, which includes BG1 with TotSC expansion and BG2 SoA with the ToB expansion.
