Where would I acquire +2 weapons, needless to say that I dont even have enough coins to get one.

I am now in the vale of shadows, started a new game.
There are monsters that I simpy cannot kill, for example: Merykul's Sending, Mummy, Imbuedwights. All I get is weapon ineffective...
Why is this so?
I do have a single weapon which is +1 but it also cannot do the job.

What gives??

You can change the game difficulty anytime during the game. The effect depends on whether you have the HoW expansion installed or not. Without HoW any difficulty easier than normal will grant less XP, with HoW any diffculty different from normal will grant an XP bonus.

I am on the brink of buying my first LCD monitor, and believe it or not, one of my first questions to myself was , "will I be able to play BG2 on it"..
I know the LCD's have this "Native Resolution" issue, which in the 19" case, is 1024 X 1280.
