i dount he is facing a adamantite golem. the golems scale with level and the adamantite one is the high level one, being the strongest golem in SOA
he is probably fighting a stone golem
both of those have the same weapon requirements to get hit, but the adamntite one also has VERY high resistances ...

which enemies are you talking about specifically?
+1 weapons can hit the majority of enemies in the game, only a few need +2 and even fewer need +3
sometimes it's not the enchantment on the weapon but the type of damage that monsters are resistant to. for example clay golems can only be damaged by ...

yes the bonuses of the tomes you find in BG1 are permanent and carry over to BG2, making it posible to start with higher stats than a freshly rolled character
Without the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion of BG1, the exp cap is 89.000
with the expansion the cap is 161.000
A newly rolled character ...

difficult question, one i can not simply answer with a yes or no
the structure of BG1 is looser, there's more exploration, that is true. But I think calling it elder scrollish is maybe a bit exaggerated. Sure there are many areas you could skip, and those zones have quests that have no direct ties ...

short answer: yes and you will have the time and opportunity to finish anything you didn't do yet
long answer: yes, but it will be a while. you'll have to make due with what you have now. depending on your choices you might skip a zone right after spellhold (and you can't go back to that). Don't ...

it happened again, a 6th, 7th and 8th spell slot in Aerie's became empty for no reason. And this time i hadn't cast any spells yet since resting so even uncast spells are lost.
This completely undoes the 3 HLAs
I only have a party of 3, so my spell slots are precious (i want to minimize the amount ...

losing bonus spell slots
I've encountered yet another bug
It's the second time now that i see that Aerie's bonus spell slots from HLAs are empty, as if the slot was given by an item which I unequipped and reequipped.
I think that so far it has only happened when the memorized spell has been cast, but I haven't really paid ...
