I just installed tutu and made Imoen a Swashbuckler, but now I can't dual her to mage. Is this the reason for that or are the rules for dualling in BG2 different from BG1?

Still not working. I am getting this message: Assertion failed in D:\Dev\Baldur\InfGame.cpp at line number 2316.
This is very strange because BGI is installed on my E:\ drive

Already done that. I have version 5512 now. Furthermore I have the TOSC game text update 11 and Unfinished Business3 installed

I have arrived at the lighthouse area and am fighting the Sirens. But my game instantly crashes as soon as one of the Sirens get off their dire charm spell. The game shuts down and I have to reload my game, now it should be possible to kill them without getting of their spells but I want to know why ...

Well, I think that I have to start all over with TOB then. Luckily I was not that far yet. Thanks for your help anyway

It is not that easy, I already tried dispel magic and remove curse but it won't help. Killing and resurrecting won't help either. Could it be a bug or something, because I've never had anything like this before. Also, Korgan has it too, but my other party members don't have the same problem like ...

When I was with my party in Saradush sewers something screwed my game up. For some reason Edwin can't cast spells anymore from a distance. He has to walk to his target before he can cast them.

Does anyone know how I can fix this annoying problem?

Never played any of the previous versions before, but gonna give it a try now.

Hmm, this is indeed very weird.
Do you have all the latest patches?
Never seen this bug either so if that isn't the problem I can't help you.

Items are more expensive

Neutral characters will leave if your reputation will be beneath 3.

You can maintain a reputation of 18 however and each evil character will stay in your party. Just make sure you don't go to 19 or 20.

I would definately go for Edwin, he is just kicking ass as the evil mage. With your sorcerer you can unleash two devastating mages on your foes along with 2 tanks so you have Viconia for backup and healing

Can't you just right click on the spell (at the right side of the book I thought, at least where all the spells available for that level are) and then choose erase?

I'm about to face Abazigal but I can't get in his cave.
I've killed his pet dragon which gives me the wardstone, but it keeps saying that some kind of magical barrier is blocking my way.

Is this also a bug? If so, can somebody tell me what the Area number for Abazigal's cave is so I can CLUA myself ...

I don't think it really matters, though I would prefer running through SoA first, because you can gather all weapons armor and the party you want.

You can get all the NPC's in ToB either, but you can't develop them like you perhaps would have done it.

So I'd say play SoA first

I guess you have all the latest patches that are available?
Otherwise try a reinstall, your saved games should still be in their dir anyway, but just make a backup of them for sure.
