Lil problem

Post by knarf »

When I was with my party in Saradush sewers something screwed my game up. For some reason Edwin can't cast spells anymore from a distance. He has to walk to his target before he can cast them.

Does anyone know how I can fix this annoying problem?

Kill Edwin.
When in doubt...kick it

Very helpful reply lol - I assume you mean kill him then resurrect him again to see if that fixes it.

Spells can only be cast in line of sight, so is there any blind effect or anything on him? Check his character sheet just to double check there is nothing cast on him that might affect his ability to cast spells etc.

If that is no help, and neither is snoopy's suggestion, then I don't know what to suggest other than it must be a glitch or something so you could try reinstalling if nothing else works.

No I meant kill him and then kick him off the party. I hate that guy.

Snoopy, if you wont HELP, dont disrupt his attempt to LEARN.

@Knarf, a simple dispell spell must do the trick. Someone may have casted nature's beauty and it caught Edwin. Its effects are permanent.
Flesh to stone ain't permanent, it seems.

It is not that easy, I already tried dispel magic and remove curse but it won't help. Killing and resurrecting won't help either. Could it be a bug or something, because I've never had anything like this before. Also, Korgan has it too, but my other party members don't have the same problem like Edwin and Korgan.

So making jokes is a no no on this board? Little tight-fisted aren't we Antonio?

you've joked twice, Snoopy, spamming on a no spam allowed forum. If you want to spam and joke without helping, please head to Speak Your Mind. Read the forum rules if you will, and the SYM rules, which will inform you on why we're more lenient with spam there.

@Knarf, I dont know what could it be then, but usually dispell helps. If your mage is too low level he wont be able to dispell the nature's beauty effects, maybe the temple may help you on that.
