Hotu - Nathyrra *spoiler*

Kay I have a question - seems the elven chick and I are getting along pretty well - is it the same kinda romance as in Bg2 ? If i ask her to leave the party for a while will it break the romance ?

Okay problem solved. Apparently the correct attacks weren't showed because ...the game wasn't up to date (installed nvn and started toying with it before installing HotU).

Clearly double weapons need the dual wielding feats - otherwise the attack bonus is shot to hell. So right now I have a pretty ...

Dual - double - problem.

Okay something's wrong. I tried making via the "shop" module a cleric that either dual wields or wields double weapon. Dual wielding works fine - with the feats i get the extra attacks.
But double weapon seems unaffected by the ambi and dual wieding options - which means that a l 17 char still has 3 ...

For me it's more like this - PS:T cannot match bgII because the imo the balance between hack an' slash and rpg is well just right.
The story is great , party handling , gear etc. they seem just fine for my tastes. Make no mistake - I'm no rpg player , I enjoy a good game and that's it.

PS:T is ...

My point exactly Aegis - I simply can't place BgII and PS:T at the very same shelf when it comes to combat. I love the game for it's story and rpg-dialouge options with much depth.

I know Fable that without considerable "dyplomatic skills" I'd face more combat - but in most cases that would only ...

Well it's just I got the feeling while playing PS:T that you really had to look to find some worthy opponents (thugs were a joke) - fights worth working for the xp were few to say the least. Instead of testing my party in battle I was occupied with let's say giving birth to a street O_o ; .

In Bg2 ...

Not so: the game had plenty of combat encounters. But if you configured a mage, raised your INT, WIS and CHA, you managed to get around many of those encounters (at least, in the first half of the game), and could deal with them through dialog, instead. It was not ...

Well that's the problem - the manual only gives background to each of the races - there was no info whatsoever how to choose them. I believe some readme should appear after installation (as with most ...

It seems that BGII is... well second to none.

PS:T was an excellent game - I mean the sheer scale of rpg was incredible - there were actual benfits if you have spoken to someone about particular thing and losses if you haven't.
The difference between "brains" and "muscles" type of playing was ...

It appears that the pack does not create new races as we would assume - there are no new races to pick from in the new game. However once you start playing an avatar showes up and via dialogue you can alter your race (btw the 1st sentence he says is in polish :) )

About thievery - you could pay a visit to the umar hills for example - then "fail" at robbing the mayor ,run into the tavern , pickpocet guest at the tavern , shopkeepers outside the inn etc. (each = -2 rep ) and then split.

I believe it's of little use to you know - since you have 18 rep which ...

Simulated thievery. Go into a building where you won't show up again , fail at pickpockteging and as the victim goes hostile get out of there asap. You could do it for example in city gate tavern.
Make sure AI is turned off - or else your party will engage any hostiles.

As always - the ultimate decision is up to you. Picking chars on the rule : "oh i haven't played that yet" is not the best since is partly forced choice.

I decide what char should I be after I make up the list of party NPCs - and then choose the one that should fit in - role/rpg- wise.

Also - if ...

Fresh install

I bid you warm welcome in this fine day.

(woah I had no idea it was getting this bad)

Ekhm well the above statement is quite selfexplanatory. I feel the need to play BG2 once again. Hence I need advice on the install order - since there are several items included and mods tend to get messed up ...

Curious

I was wondering - since you can create an entire party - just as in IWD games - does that mean there are no inter-party banter at all ? I presume there are no sophisticated romances and no confilicts whatsoever (due to party alignment thingie) ?

Also - what level char can one expect at the end of ...

Ah then I'll continue putting skills into traps and remain wearing full plate +1.

If the % wouldn't matter for the trap damage then I'd put points into hide and switch to Shadow D plate backstab purposes.

Fighter/Druid is possible (Jaheira :) ).

As for the actual class - depends really what you're looking for.
I believe you would find F/Thief much to your liking. Dual wield , hide in shadows , back stab , traps , sheer fact that you'll be the one handling traps/locks (no need to give boots of speed ...

On the main floor - where you gave Gorch the papers - behind the doors on the left there are stairs down which lead to the basement. When you go down stand next to the northern wall - a secret purple doors will appear - clicking them will reveal a secret chamber.
