I did it correctly once i entered the Fire Lab first

That key is used to open the door between the Slime Library and the Slime Lab

I first entered the Slime Library instead of the Fire one.
I hae the Air Control Rod, if thats what you're talking about. It is used to drive the fan in the Air Lab quicker so that the fog spreads out into the Ice Lab.

A little correction. Fighter dualled to Mage can still get Fighter stronghold. I have the latest ToB patch installed.

I would even say that Icewind Dale : Heart of Winter at Party Level 9 is tougher than any IE game thrown at the audience.

BG2 is based on AD&D rules which are quite easier than the more balanced 3.5 edition. But they overcompensed in the NWN series and made it very easy ( especially NWN2)

the damned door from the Slime Library to the Ice Lab won't open. Only rooms left to be opened are Fire Lab and Ice Lab. all libraries and the rest of the work has been done. it says locked

i dont want to cheat. but if this can be done only by cheating, then please tell the means?
can this be done by the cheat to give experience to any character by typing. selecting that character and then channeling all the experience of the party t that character?

cornwall produces many helpful folks, it seems

in the potrait, Sarevok is shown to be a pale skinned, brown haired (bearded) guy whereas in the doll, he is shown as a dark skinned, black haired guy?
and what about Irenicus? is he black haired, blond haired or red haired?

does throne of bhaal has enough experience to dual sarevok without being handicapped for much of the game? and does it come fast?

I already acquired the Fighter stronghold ( DeArnise Keep ) and I have no mods installed.
Can it be the reason that I've not been able to acquire the Mage Stronghold?
My character is Dual Classed Fighter 9/Mage 18

Also, I have not explicitly closed the console after I used it ( for Cernd problem)
Should I go to the baldur.ini file and put 0 there?
