So! It turns out that the elemental augments are monster specific. Meaning that certain elemental augments won't work at all against the wrong type...

Fire damages Hobbes and Undead I believe. But if you ask me, don't use Fire or Lightning. Use Sharpning, Piercing, Health, Mana, and Experience....
