Now, I've had this legal copy of BGII ever since it came out and I just recently loaded it onto a machine that runs vista. Earlier today, I attempted to initiate BGII and was prompted to configure it even though I had done so a while back and was currently about halfway through the game. I skip the configuration steps, and selecting the 'load game' option sure enough yields no results - all of the saves have been deleted. Now, every time I start the game, it prompts me to configure it no matter what I do - the gameplay has been buggy for the past few weeks on this vista machine, but I'm not quite sure what could be the problem here. If anyone's experienced something similar, or if anyone has a hunch as to what this could be, I would appreciate a response.
