Losing NPCs in random encounters

Post by Yasusuke »

I've lost Sulik in a random encounter... Accidentally told him to stay, he kept fighting, forget I told him to stay and left the map. Is there way to get back NPCs that you leave in random encounters??

When you enter another location after that envounter, Sulik doesn't appear? Did you remove him from the party by choosing from the dialogue something like "I want you to wait here for a while"? And are you sure he didn't die during the fight?

If you told him to stay in a random encounter area and then left to the world map, he's gone. Everything in random encounter areas is cleared forever the moment you leave.

Consider it like leaving one of your trusted, mush-mouthed friends to die in a dessert full of mutated creatures. They're not coming back from that, and you're a horrible person for doing it. Live on, brother, and honor his memory by treating the NEXT NPC you meet a lot better.
Which won't be hard because they'll all be better than Sulik, and actually worth having around.

Idk actually Sulik is pretty useful the way I remember it. Actually I think that all npcs will try to "help" you if you tell them to wait and engage combat near them. Life is such... hope he didn't have any valuable equipment with him though
