I am currently just before the battle with Irenicus in Spellhold. After the battle, Yoshimo appears as expected. However, instead of being hostile and attacking us, he asks if we need him anymore? It's as if we just kicked him out of the party. All the events up to this point had triggered correctly including everything with the betrayal. This wouldn't matter except when we kill him, he doesn't have his heart to complete the quest. I know I could probably just use the console to put the heart in our inventory but I would rather to have the final convo if there is one.
If it helps, I installed the Fixpack v6 near the end of chapter 2. I tried also uninstalling it after the problem was found and had no luck.
Is there a variable that didn't get set and if there is, anyone know what it is? Any help at all would be appreciated. I really would not have to use the CreateItem if possible.

I wonder if the fixpack or a mod has made it so that Yoshimo can be kept in the party? Or is it just a bug?
My only suggestion (if you have a save) is try replaying the battle with Irenicus.
Other thoughts are he would be a good character if you leveled him high enough to get UAI and then dualed him to fighter!

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
The only problem Claudius is that he won't transfer to ToB, unless you know of a mod that handles that. If there is I'd like to know about it.

Personally, I would prefer to play an unmodded game. I only used the Fixpack to fix obvious problems with the game. There's a few fixes that Yoshimo is involved in. One of which it prevents the exploit to keep Yoshimo alive after Spellhold. I'm thinking the fix broke something with Yoshimo's quest as I had already had him in my game. Starting over is out of the question and the CreateItem is being used as a last resort if I can't get this resolved and find the code for his heart.
