How much XP to give for finishing a adventure?
I'm DMing a campighn and a group of 1st lv adventures just completed there first adventure, I want to give them some XP just for completing the adventure but don't know how much to give them?
Depends on the Encounter Levels you used, mainly. More or less also depends on what players expect: some groups like to level fast, others not. The DMG has guidelines for it.
In 3.5 I tend to give my players enough XP to reach 2nd lvl after the first adventure. I do this, because the increase in their HP makes it less likely that someone gets killed by pure chance.

Standard XP for adventure completion (meaning aside from XP gained from fighting monsters and other encounters such as traps or diplomatics) is 300 x character level for each character.
Meaning, 4 first level characters get 300 XP each, regardless of how many players their are. This is the DMG way to do it.
