When does a sorcerer learn new spells?

Post by Fomalhaut »

Now, I am perfectly aware of the Charisma restrictions and my sorceress can throw spells and everything, there is just one weird thing...
When she moved up to Level 2, the "choose a spell" screen didn't pop up, so she managed to learn Level 2 spells (like Melf's Acid Arrow) only at Level 4. Is this normal?

Can't remember at the moment the exact progress of Sorcrer's spells, but it's slower than wizard. Perhaps it was at level 3 when they get level 2 spells, can't remember. But it's normal

Yup. I didn't know for sure, but then I looked at my NWN booklet and it's true. You should however be able to cast more of your spells.(in number a day, not more spells)

Yup sorcerer gets ridiculously few spells so choose carefully
The problem is that the people with the most ridiculous ideas are always the people who are most certain of them.
