Random Skill points

Post by Claudius »

I understand two sorces of skillpoints:

1 Quest: I accomplish a certain triggered task (eg clear out cave x) and I get a skill point.

At level up: you seem to get a skillpoint at level up.

But I have also noticed that sometimes I just randomly get a skill point. This has happened out of the blue when I kill an animal, pick a plant, or open a chest. What is the nature of this? Is it random or are their loads of triggers waiting to unlock a point....and I mean non-Quest triggers like kill first dodo or steal first item for example.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Two Worlds has an achievements system, and you get skill points for meeting the achievements (at least on the PC).

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

So an achievement might be 'open 5 chests' or 'gather 10 foxglove' or 'kill 40 wolves'....

so when that final wolf triggers it it only seems like it was random..
