I thought that I might try another no reloads game, but this time with Tutu.
I'm not ver experienced with it, but have played SoA quite a bit, though all the way through only once. I therefore thought that I shouldn't have too many problems and created the nearest character I could to a Xan clone. I didn't know that you can get hurt in training and one arrow just south of the temple was enough to kill me! The game lasted less than five minutes.
Anyone else had an embarassing moment in the game that we might find entertaining?
What has been your most embarrassing moment?

Yes, well, embarrasing is probably not the word I´d use, but I the first time I tride to kill the demon in Ulgoth´s Beard I got wasted repeatedly. I tried every tactic I knew with potions etc., but nothing worked. Finally, after 3 or 4 hours of reloads, I got sick of it and cast Cloudkill on it in the battle I had decided would be the last attempt, simply because I hadn´t tried it before. And what do you know. Cloudkill made the bastard drop dead instantly.

My most embarrassing experience was when I began a game with a sorcerer. I entered one of those bunkhouses and met the would-be assassin in there -- only this time he was no "would-be". I couldn't believe it when Carbos gutted my PC on his first strike. That's the only time he's ever managed to kill my PC in all the times I've gone through the prologue. Just to get even, after I reloaded, my PC rested and prepared a devastating magic missile! Carbos didn't survive that battle.

I know what you mean, but isn't it those kind of things that make the game?Darth Malignus wrote:Yes, well, embarrasing is probably not the word I´d use, but I the first time I tride to kill the demon in Ulgoth´s Beard I got wasted repeatedly. I got annoyed with that battle because I killed everyone before the transformation into Aec Laetec and I didn't get my reward. I was quite miffed.
