a thief should be easy
if u ain't using mods

;-)

you have the ability to use all sorts of spells/wands

so get wish and such ;-)
and some fogs

wish for the healing(must be lucky though and high wisdom)
and get some proper buffs before going in
should be easy since u can use all spells;-0

Right on. The Time Stop scrolls are pretty handy in that battle too.

Even if you decide to be not cheap by using traps, as the others mentioned, buffing yourself with spells and taking advantage of your almighty Poison Weapon ability, you should have a very easy time with her.

Cheap!?!? I resent that! Traps are meant to be used.

I meant laying half a dozen of them under a dragon's nose.

traps are there to be used - admittedly doing it in plain sight of an inteligent creature isn't within the spirit of the game, but otherwise it is OK.

Duh. I have so high trap laying skills that all the dragon sees is me blowing my nose. Or I have a bard distracting him. :)

But yeah, you should be allright if you're playing the vanilla version of the game. UAI, as already said, should take care of it if you've stashed up some goodies for it!

I think Melissan is immune to Time Stop.

She most definately is, but her summoned beasts are not. And sometimes all you need is a little lone time with the big demi-god cutie. ;)
