Cant enter Windspear? Help

I am currently in Chapter 3 and decided to hop along to Windspear and do some quests there, but it was shaded and I could not go there (the acorns are about to rot too).

Can i not go there past a certain point in the game?

2 possible answers.
Did you talk to Lord Fierkag in the Copper Coronet to get the quest? If not go talk to him first.

Also, try leaving the city through the main gate. That should let you out.

Go by Umar hills, you might need to do a quest there first, I had to.
