It's a mod for BG1, which gives it the interface as well as new spells and classes of BG2.

You need the second Baldur's Gate in order to use it.

Oh thanks I dont think ill use it then i dont like cheats or mods it makes it less fun for me.

One other question real quick. Does Minsc ever get spells. His wisdom is so low and I thought that that made a difference. Im in a cram for healers, all I have is Branwen, and I am having trouble diciding if I want Kivan or not.

Aye. I dislike mods too as I like the original feel of the game.

I don't think Minsc gets spells in the first game.

I think you're alright, though lacking in the thief department.

Meh, I don't really see it as cheating. I prefer to play the entire series in one breath with some sense of continuity between BG1 and BG2. I believe one of the fixpacks for Tutu makes it so that the class kits that become usable in BG1 aren't over (shapeshifter) or under (monk) powered anymore. I generally like how additional mods help you overcome these things. There's even a mod that gives you back ye olde BG1 inferface in Tutu.

Actually, you can import your character from BG1 to BG2 by simply transferring the appropriate data files from and to their respective character folders.

Yeah, but only from the classes included in the first BG since that's what you have to start out with. ;)

Yes, but that doesn't really matter because upon picking that character in a new game, you get to choose a kit, if applicable. This does however deny you the chance to play a Barbarian, Monk or Sorcerer from BG1.
