Best Lvl to Dual Class Imoen?

I have kind of a stupid question. I've never really dualed imoen into a mage so I want some advice. What would be the best lvl to dual imoen into a mage. I'm Playing BG1Tutu and I also want to know what would be the best skills to put points into. Could anyone give me some advice? Again, I'm sorry if this is a stupid question.

Try using the advanced search function with Imoen in the title as this subject has been discussed at length before.
