From the manual of NWN platinum edition (page 132 about Associates):
You may hire up to two henchmen at a time. If you hire a third, the first henchman hire will automatically quit your party
I thought you can only have one henchman?

I'm still playing the OC so i haven't got there yet, but i think it means that in one campaign you get to have up to two henchman.

In the OC I'm pretty sure you can have only 1 henchmen. As for the expansions if I remember correctly you are aloud to have two.
