I've just started the game and would like to ask for advice from more experienced players on how to build up my talents (I must admit I'm a bit of a power player). Should I spread them out evenly or focus on one or two trees? So far I put one point into Strong steel and one into Group steel, plus one into Aard sign.
Also about attributes - Intellect seems useful, but I wonder if I will lose fighting prowess if I start pumping it instead of, say, Strength or Dex. Help appreciated.
Help with building char
To begin with I'd focus mainly on the Strong and Fast steel. Then as you grow in level, start even out with Group Steel and the Silver ones.
Remember to put some points into the signs you'll use.
Aard (I think, the "push" one) is definitely nice to have.
However, I wouldn't worry too much, as you grow in level, you'll get "enough" talents. But I'd personally - as said - start out with Strong/Fast steel.

You'll get tons of talents. My priority is to raise strength early = more life/damage which are fantastic. The recommended style for the green wolves is fast but strong works too. So one or both of those. I don't want to spoil your game but there is a fight that is pretty hard without Aard to knock the enemy down (or stun) and insta kill. Later like I say (bronze)talents are plentiful. Still strength a priority (silver and gold). Also intelligence, endurance, and dexterity. Put at least 3 in every sword style. I think the most important are strong and group. Group is way overpowered you can grab a train of enemies and then kill them faster with group than 1 by 1. Igni is the most useful sign in my opinion because it can do insane damage and crowd control. Aard is still useful. Yrden is harder to use but it is good. Signs in general are extremely powerful. Quen is good if you are unprepared just throw it up and drink.
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
