I am Sea Wind Fire

I have been playing Neverwinter Nights for awhile,
i have a question on Power Staff.
I just got it and need to now how to use it,
i thought a staff you only had to click on monster
and she would use her power staff.
But i guess not because when i click on a monster
she runs up to it.
I could see it if she used her hands uesing the spell
her hands move.
But she has the power staff isnat the spell surpose to
come out of that?
And why doent she point it out to the monster
and use it,when i click on monster.

the power staff charges 50 times
it handles fire ball.....missle
i have not seen eaither of them come out of her power staff

any one uses it and now how to make it work right
please tell me

If you "click" on your opponent you are just going to use your melee attacks. The "Staff of Power" or any other staff for that matter are NOT ranged weapons. In order to use the special abilities (i.e. fireball etc) you need to right click and activate the ability. I hope this helps.

Right click on the staff and (with the menu listing spells),

-left quick and hold on the spell and drag it onto a quick slot. (..this is the same action you take if you have feats (in your character sheet) that are spell-like).

Then when its time to use the spell (have the staff in hand), left click on the quick slot spell and then left click on the opponent (or location).
