This is probably the problem. I know I had trouble finding the right spot when I played an Order character my first time through the game.ovtza wrote:am i just tired and i cant find a destroyable barricade

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

I admit that it is kinda hard to spot which barricades are the ones that you can interact with, and those which cannot. I remember that it looked slightly different than the others, but still hard to spot at times. Ended up simply using Aard on any part of the barricade until something breaks.
Sorry that I can't be of much help, since I used that exact method to bash the last barricade.

''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
I doubt it, because if you do manage to hit the breakable part, only that part will collapse. The rest of the barricade will remain standing.ovtza wrote:is it possible that for example only a half of barricade is destroyable? cause i tried all of them i think... :/

The whole thing will collapse, no matter which side you hit.ovtza wrote:assuming that i hit a breakable part, of course... i ment if it is possible that half of barricade is destroyable and the other half is not...

The barricade you are looking for is not burning I just fished to play the order side. I didn´t spot it at first glance, but use the following method:
Open your Journal and check the track option for the quest you mentioned.
Now when you open your map the point you have to get to should be blinking. Go as close to this point as possible. (Don´t try to destroy anything so far) Now you should be surrounded by burning barricades at least almost. Look over the Barricades or press the "Alt"-Key this will highlight everything in your vicinity including enemy units. Move along the barricades towards those units as close as possible. Directly before these units there is a small part of barricade that is not burning. This is the part that can be destroyed using the Aard sign.

if you mean somewhere in here:
ImageShack - Hosting :: screenlq4.jpg
then tell me where exactly, cause i really cannot spot it.....
this is the central barricade, there are two more: one on the left and one in the right side of it. after using the aard on the left, half of barricade does collapse, but there still is no walkway. on the right side nothing happens, same as on the barricade from picture.
maybe it is matter of patch, as Dave4's? i am playing 1.1 version
