Seriously please help!

I can't pick the lock on Mandels chest... am I missing something or does my thief just have to keep trying or go up a level or what?

I wish I could help you man, its funny im betting your sitting there all into the game and everything and BOOm you get stuck at the stupidest area, I know how that is. I wish I could help but im just a newbie

I keep checking these forums cause I have some questions of my own that need answering.

Ok...

The worst thing about it was that I continued on from an old save so didn't remember what I had already done.

FYI... when you get to this level make sure when you release the prisoneers either you have one hell of a high level thief or you kill one of the prisoneers after he opens the chest... kinda stupid really.

Mandels chest... you need a potion of master thievery... had to export and import a character from an earlier save to bring one in for me but it worked.
