Weapon Upgrade

How do you get the upgrades onto your silver sword???? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You'll need three runes to reforge a silver sword - a blacksmith can do it for you.
If you mean the temporary upgrades like oil or whetstones and the like, just drag the item from your inventory over the sword.

So what you are saying that you can not just add a Ruin to a sword you already have?

No. You'll have to forge a new silver sword when you have three runes.

silver talent answer

go to your blacksmith and bring 3 ruins .push the hammer sign at bottom his stock sheet will show and it wil contain the possibilities that you have and a price pick one and you should be all set .
Unless you have a named sword .named swords can not be upgraded

silver sword upgrade

ive checked with both the dwarf blacksmith the order blacksmith and the blacksmith in the traders area and all they seem to upgrade are the steel swords i have the ruins and the silver sword is always greyed out as for the blacksmith he says he wont charge money but just to get a ruby or another gem for a pommel and he will upgrade but when i check he wants 1000 gold for a 3 red meteorite sword and he takes the gem as well so what gives

Sounds like you don't have the proper runes. Any combination of Sun, Earth and Moon Runes should suffice to upgrade the Silver Sword. The exact combination determines the abilities.
