Hello everyone. Great forum for info, though i could not locate a thread with a bug like this.
Was traveling from NCR to san fran in the car, got jumped by the third Morton brother encounter. My car was not on the random encounter map after the fight. Saved out of reflex, unforunatly.
Any way to get the car back?

I have the game patched with killaps restoration project.

Are you sure that you left NCR with car? Also, no ending of fuel happened at the same time you had the encounter?
If it's neither of the above, then it's one of the quite common car bugs, and there is really nothing to be done about than restarting from earlier save (if you have one) or continue without car. Though I'm kinda suprised that such bug occured with that highly patched game.
