Little More Help Please?

I bought the game used and didn't get a manual. I am having a ball, but having problems with some small things:

1. I have a rogue/diviner. I took 1 level of rogue and at level up I dual-classed to diviner. I wrote some spells in my spellbook and slept. They are in my spellbook, but during battles spellscasting is not an option on my action bar. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here, but I now have a rogue 1/ diviner 1 that can't cast spells.

2. I read a lot of the posts on level squatting. I tried it with one party for a few levels. When I went to level up it wouldn't let me take one level at a time. The only options I had was to pick a class and level up in that class however many levels I had squatted. Is there a way to do 1 at a time?

3. If I have 4 healing potions, is there a way to give 1 to someone else? So far, it's all or none.

1. You can customize the character's menu button by right-clicking. A description is on page 12 in the manual if you can't do it via trial and error.

2.There's no way. I recommend playing without level squatting. It's cheating and unbalancing.

3. Try double-click.
