Is the you are the 999,999 visitor garbage add really that important that it has to make an annoying sound every 3 seconds?
I am not in favor of any add that does not have intelligent sound content. Someone speaking is fine if I can close it to shut it up. But an annoying sound every second just means I will remember to mute GB site.
Edit: Hmm maybe I was the 1 millionth visitor? I could get rich! I've also won approximately 50 Walmart 1000 dollar gift cards. Yay!

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

I didn't get that ad. Not today and not even the day when Claudius reported about it. Consider me lucky, I guess...
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price
Decided to note that the ad is still in rotation, and gets displayed fairly usually. Also, I noticed that there is two version of it, first one with just text "Congratulation! You have won!" or similiar, which produce noice hard to describe, but it's rather annoying high noice. Second ad is something like "You are the 1000000 visitor!" or "You are the over 1000000 visitor" or something similiar. The sound coming from it is very similiar to the blinking noise coming from windows when it's popping up message window (warning etc.), which makes the sound very frustrating.
At the same breath, sorry for going a bit offtopic, but what's GB's policy in regarding ads advertising medicines relative to Viagra?
