Gargoyle treasure trove
what do you have to do in there? There doesn't appear to be anything you can do. I assume it has something to do with the gargoyles they keep talking about I really couldn't figure what you have to do with them either.

What you can do in the Trove is affected by what you do in the world. You have to destroy the Gargoyle's throughout Albion (All 50) to get the Gargoyle's Ultimate treasure. It's goes in sets of tens, after you kill 10 one of the gates in the trove open and you get a small treasure and you step on a pressure plate to activate 1/5 of the magical bridge. You destroy 20 Gargoyles, and another gate opens, ect. Sadly, Ive only found 30 of them so far, so i dont know whats in that chest across the pit. I've looked everywhere for the list of locations to the Gargoyles but can't find one, so help would be appreciated.
Hindsight is 20/20.

sorry about that I just didn't see how it said you needed the ranged target style... But yeah they talk to you and insult you, so if you listen for their voice you can sometimes find them. On the other hand if you look in the regions section of your pause menu it says how many are in each region as far as I know there are never more than 5 in any given region.
I only managed to wipe them out in Oakfield myself there were only 3

In the Balvarine Cave near Westcliff, where the heck is the one at the top of the steps just past the main chamber? I hear him cackling away, but I can't seem to find him.
Actually he's not at the top of the steps he is in the main chamber stop at exit to the main chamber turn right look up pretty high he should be there.

the carriage is 'sent to the shop' at a later date. basically, it gets moved to the blacksmith and you can hit the gargoyle unobstucted if you wish.

When does this occur? I noticed that there was a treasure chest back there, so I figured that there had to be a way to get in there.stanolis wrote:outcast:

i found the end of this quest remarkably entertaining Dont be fooled by the chest across the pit. after obtaining all 50 access to the chest is alowed. All it has is a rotten apple. You must go behind that chest to get to the real prize behind a smashable wall. Gargoyles are tricky little things arnt they?
