I need back end blaster spells for druids. Can I get some help putting a list together. Please include where the spell comes from. No spell from dungeon or dragon mags please but any source/splat book is fine.
The information that follows isn't strictly necessary but I prefer to give more information than is needed. There is no need to read the rest to answer my question if you don't want to.
The reason this has come about is because the wizard just got splatted. I have been doing a fair bit of healing but I'm not the only person that can heal in the group. The reason I'm going for back end blasting is because I already have point blank and precise shot making me a thrown weapon fool of a halfling up till this point. Now that the wizard is dead though I wanna to pick up the slack created when he remade as a warrior class.
Blaster Druid
Eh, Blasting is a very underpowered/inefficient thing to do with a fullcaster. Their damaging effects are very subpar. If damage is what you want, get a powerful Wildshape form.
Get Natural Spell and Wildshape anyway, to be honest.
The Call Lightning spells are decent. They're Core.
Flamestrike is half ok.
Call Avalanche + Bloodsnow (both Frostburn) allow for some massive CON damage.
Fireseeds can be useful, if you focus them.
These are about all the blast spells I can think of on top of my head.

Don't bother with Storm of Vengeance. It takes way too much setup for it to work decently, and is pretty much less useful than Heat/Chill metal.
On the other hand, if you DO have time to set up spells, then Storm of Vengeance combined with a Maximized and Empowered Elemental Swarm is pretty damn powerful, so long as the elementals avoid the damage radius of the storm.

Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I know it's sub par blasting but the whole group dynamic is messed up anyway. 80% of the group is fairly new to the game (it's their 2nd or 3rd game) and so optimized group we are not. Also this is a low level game so we are a long way off from Storm o' Veng. and elemental swarm. Thanks for the replies again.
