Drinking (spoiler)

Post by Claudius »

How do you get better at drinking? I beat the drunk in ch 1 of course but now I try to beat thaler....we drank 6 beers and 2 bottles of wine...Hey Geralt collapsed after that...I think I can drink that in RL without passing out haha :o :D ..

What skills help drinking? Endurance? Or is it a needed bronze talent in heavyweight?

Or should I have only drunk beer? Or something crazy like drink some white gull?
Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

If I recall correctly, there was a skill related to drinking somewhere in the endurance section, though I can't remember what is it called.

As for drinking, I always use beer and never medium alcohol (unless it is for those more upper-class folks). At least I can drink a lot of those without passing out. ;)
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

Heavyweight under Stamina lvl.1 - only seems to effect *duration*, NOT how much you actually get drunk.

I'm not sure if its stamina or strength, BUT it is likely that it is tied to level with one or both attributes.

I can say though that when I was drinking with Thaler that I had only 2 points in strength and 3 in stamina, and:

Of course as DesR85 has suggested: only drink *weak* alcohol.
