Swords?

I haven't played any Fallout games, and I would like to know if there are (or anything resembling) swords in this game. I have seen maces and heard about warhammers, but nothing about swords.

In the Fallout games, there were Knives, Wakizashis and Rippers. So yeah, there are weapons resembling swords.

There are "Chinese Officer's Swords" aplenty. As well as baseball bats, sledgehammers, brass knuckles, switchblades, knives, fists, police batons, ripper (chainsaw), power fists, spiked knuckles etc. No throwing knives, spears or shuriken, apparently that is now a lost art (they took out the throwing skill).

There are no maces that I saw, and oddly, despite many fire extinguishers and fire nozzles, there are no fire or wood axes in the game that I found. Go figure.

you can get a sword that is on fire callled the skishkabab personally its just so awsome

Vampires Edge

The Vampire leader carries a shish ka bob, and in his bedroom in Meresti is a locked sword cabinet with "Vampires Edge" a pretty decent hunk of tempered steel. I keep it to kill roaches, ants, and moles so I don't waste ammo.
