What do I do with Shadowbanish Wine? (Spoiler request)

Post by Indianasmith »

When I picked up the bottle, it triggered a quest . . . but the map gives me no marker to bear towards, and I've taken the bottle to Tamika and the Surile brothers without it triggering any conversation topics or anything else. What do I do with this stuff?

Spoiler:You should go to the quiet small town of Weye. In that town there is an Inn owner who is interested about rare wines.

I glad I read this thread! Never done the quest because I didn't know where to start!

Exactly. :) I've been carrying around Shadowbanish Wine for what seems like forever, but no one seems interested in it. I'll have to head over to Weye and ask around. Thanks

You have made a tiny and yet very unfortunate mistake in your spoiler, it should say

Corrected spoiler->
Spoiler
Just WEST, and across the brigde from The Imperial City.
Just to avoid any confusion
Did I just roll 1 on a save vs. death? DANG! *>.<

The woman who gives you your reward for it, is less then what you should get.

Drinking the wine is more useful then exchanging.

Spoiler?

Hi!
By their standards, "Weye" is a settlement, heheh. ;)
But anyway, if you're into drinking, you can "do the quest and have your own bottle too", a variation on the cake thing. That is if you have "Frostcrag Spire". Without it, there is just a camp, with a bottle in bucket, looking like it was meant for some lost couple. The bottle can't be taken, or broken. It just seems to there, to provide amusement with seeing how far you can make it tumble down the mountain. You also can't put a flag on the flagpole. But I digress. With "Frostcrag Spire", not only do you have an alter to enchant ot make custom spells, make your own elemental guardian, have your own imp army, and so on and so forth, you also get an extra bottle of Shadowbanish Wine in your wine cellar. Nearby are two graves. One casts a blessing spell on you, and the other gives you a unique bottle of Dragon Wine! Or is it "Dragonfire Wine"? Some kind of wine with "Dragon" in the title. Consume it wisely if you must. As for me, I just add it to the collection. I think it is said that the wines in your wine cellar respawn after 3 days or so, in game.
Shhh! Be very quiet! I may be sleep writing and sleep reading! :laugh:
