I just went over the hints section of the Kotor subsite at
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic @ GameBanshee
Is the first tip really true? I've played a few kotor games where I'd just play pazaak until the other person accuses me of cheating. You get a few hundred out of them while saving your winning games, but then they always accuse you of cheating. It never occurred to me they were actually of accusing me of savegame cheating.
Infinite games opens up possibilities. For one, I NEVER buy any merchant wares until after Dantooine because I don't want to spend money on soon-to-be-obsolete gear. But if I can just play pazaak early in the game a lot more I won't have to worry about that.
I just want to know if anyone has tried out that 'Milking the Shark' strategy.

Well, you might be cheating, but it never occurred to me to think savegame cheating, just your character in-game cheating like you can in real life.
Even the best hand relies a lot on the luck of draw, which makes the game more gambling than skill based. I prefer high +/- cards and like to throw +6/+7/+8 to win asap over trying against more cards drawn.
The tactic does work, since the game only recognizes a number consecutive wins, so if you do not win more than 2-3 game back to back, you're good. But none of the purchasable items are really worth it except those unlocked from the guy in the station near the end game.

The game does not recognize the save/load cheating. It merely accuses you of cheating if you win a bunch of games in a row. It is impossible to actually cheat though (not including the save/load). Therefore, "Milking the Shark" would let you play infinet games, while if you didn't lose once in a while you would be accused of cheating, and couldn't play that character again.
I know that there are no +7/+8 cards in the PC version, but there might be in the XBox.

It takes 43 muscles to frown and only 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to just sit there with a dumb look on your face
