First off, this should have spoiler tags (SPOILERS in the name of the thread, so people who don't want to don't get, well, spoiled). On that note, this post contains spoilers!
Now, to address your question. I haven't played too much myself, but I use the house in Megaton (Here's where the spoilers come in!). You get the house after disarming the bomb and talking to the sheriff. There are a few lockers in your room that you can use for storage. Whenever you need to store/retrieve stuff fast travel to Megaton and go to your house.
Although, for storage, really any container will work, as long as you can remember where it is. And obviously near to a location that you can fast travel to. Still, the house is handy.
And there is definitely more than one town. Again, I haven't gotten that far either, so I can't say how many quests each town contains, or anything, but each one I've been to has a few.
Hope this helped.

Well, Rivet City is quite big, also if you count Citadell as a city it is too...
The best way to obtain caps is just scavenge. Loot everything you can find, then sell to traders. Also, try to avoid using repair services, and instead repair things yourself.

If the sheriff is dead you can talk to his son for the key to your house. Take the sheriff's key off his body, and then go to his house, where his son will give you a key to your house, after you disarm the bomb. You do that by approaching the bomb and activating it, with an Explosives skill of 25 or more.dam0gonz0 wrote:Cheers, ermmm i have a HUGE problem though. Some guy asked me to blow the bomb so i told the sherif and well, hes dead.................plus how do i disarm it (i for got what quest helps me).
Also, you don't need to triple post, in the future just edit your previous post.
Oh, and you can't use images in sigs here, I believe.
And, yeah, money hasn't been an issue for me, just sell everything you don't need that you have looted. One tip I can give you is there are a few vendors outside of Megaton that cycle by, and their caps seem to refresh (yeah, weird, I know... ). If no one is there (right outside the Megaton entrance) you can wait an hour, until someone shows up. Same for if the person is out of caps.
I've never even bothered, myself, as I've barely even spent any money. I'm still wearing basic armor, and using basic guns, and no one even presents a challenge. I just haven't needed to buy anything. My house is full of things I haven't bothered selling yet.

How much you actually need cash depends on your difficulty setting and wether you have high enough repair skill. Letting merchants repair your things is very costly, you can easily burn over 1000 caps just by repairing couple of weapons and your armor.Kienan wrote: And, yeah, money hasn't been an issue for me, just sell everything you don't need that you have looted. In normal difficulty, the basic armors (I think I used something like Armored Vault Suit for 4/5 of my first playthrough) can take you long way. But as I'm playing in Hard setting now, good armor is a must. You don't want to encounter 4 super mutants with just basic armor and Sawed Shotgun as your best weapon

Junk vendors, who come in caravans in front of megaton and other towns have schematics for sale. There are some in the game for quest rewards, I cannot remember where though almost all of them except the nuka-grenades sucked imo. I guess if you are having serious ammo problems they can be great, I hated collecting all the bits for them, and you get better weapons immediately in the regular game arc.dam0gonz0 wrote:what things can i build on a work bench ?? i have bottle cap mine and shishkebab ....... wtf ?? lol do you know were i can find to build other things ?
You have a lot of questions, maybe you should just bite the bullet and grab a game guide?
Just saying, I doubt you'll be able to get all the answers you want here for awhile.
