Wife vanishing problems?
Wife vanishing problems?
Okay, so, I married Alex, a woman in bowerstone related to a certain quest (not giving specifics so that there are no spoilers). I had a child, and then I did the Hero of Will quest and came back, and my wife was gone. Nowhere to be found.
She didn't divorce me (my logbook says divorced zero times, and my family records say she's happy, but that's slowly starting to disappear).
I've tried setting my Gold Road to lead to her, but there is no gold road when I do that. I've scoured bowerstone and fairfax gardens, and not even a trace.
My son that I had with my wife is also bugging out. He responds to absolutely nothing. He stands in a corner all day long and doesn't speak, even when I do things like sockpuppets and dance, or even give him a gift. I don't even get the + 4 happiness things over his head.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong? I don't want to get divorced because I can't find my wife! A prompt response would be much appreciated, but I'm going to be grateful for anything I get.
Thanks in advance!

Lol, I married alex too. The thing is, women want GOOD houses
or they will run off to somewhere else. I had my wife in Bowerstone
Market, somewhat decent house. She ran off to bloodstone and I
found her there later on my quest for the pirate hero. If women don't
like their house, they will run away. If they don't like you, they will
run away. So its complicating to be in a relationship and be on a quest.

Find a home with a child's bed, and with a double bed.
Then put decorative / luxury items in the room. Then tell
her to follow you and she will. Then set the new house with
the luxury and decorative furniture as your main house by
clicking "use." Set the budget to something good like 500.
So she can make changes if she wants, and so on.

Same problem here. I had her follow me then dismissed her on a map (Bower Lake, IIRC). Now I can't find her. I've searched all over the maps. When I go into the menu, highlight Family and press A, it sends me to the house (the home in Oakfield behind the Demon Door), because 'this is the closest spot...'
I was wondering if maybe she wandered into cave or some other area I hadn't explored. The only caves in Oakfield I can think of is the Wellspring and Echo Cave. Are there others?
