It's probably ok for Gawain to use the Mok's 1.3 patch. Looks like 1.2 did not address the armor bug from my readme. Here's what the Mok patch addresses:
- Fixes from patches 1.1 and 1.2 are included.
- Small updates to Miles Sound System (4.0b to 4.0g) and Smacker (3.1n to 3.1s)
- Fixed broken doors in Shadow Guild and Kriegspire Castle.
- Fixed shield and armor recovery (Thanks to Mike Kienenberger for the fix).
- Caps Lock key will toggle running/walking
- Fixed CD Audio initialization. Music will play even if CD2 isn't in the first CD-ROM drive in your system.
- Buggy harddrive free space check removed.
- Added a few configuration options to mm6.ini file located in the games directory

kmonster, you're right later one, the Cleric can use Dragon's Breath for example as an attack spell. In all my previous games, he only got Light Magic.
So, the party is taking shape:
Knight, with Spear & Shield. (Later on probably Shield & Sword).
Archer, with Axe & Sword.
Cleric, with Mace & Shield.
Druid, with Dagger & Dagger. (Will probably start with Dagger/Shield.)
Archer is going to focus on Air.
Cleric focuses on Body & Spirit, Light & Dark.
Druid focuses on Water, Fire, Body, later Air and Mind.
In the long run, all casters should learn all schools.
