hello all,
i havent played thi game for a while
heres my question :
If I buy only NWN2 OC; will I face trouble with terrific hardware performance? Or is there patch that solves it? (just click & install)
OR I have to buy also datadisk MotB which i've heared solved a lot hw trouble....thaks all
performance
..use the auto-patcher that comes with the disc (..run dvd). It works regardless of OC or expansion pack, however it is a lot to download (..its a cumulative patch).
You can encounter problems with lots of spells going off regardless of system spec.s, but a good graphics card solution will get you through most of the game without serious disappointment.
I personally run a 3.0 Athalon with 7600 GS's in SLI for my 1080P monitor. For the most part it works well. (..the SLI config. is needed though for that higher resolution with lesser cards like the 7600 GS.) Obviously its a fairly weak system by today's standards. By comparison I found the Witcher on this system to sometimes be "brutal" (..and occasionally nearly un-playable without substantially reducing the visual quality settings).

IF there is any enhancement in performance then yes - its a patch (actually multiple patches that occure all at once when using the auto-patcher).forty- wrote:well if I understand good, it wasnt expansion witch enhanced performance, it was patch that enahnced it (which is expansion pack based on)
Am I right?
The modules provide you with additional game-play, feats, races, classes, etc..
well thanks , hope ure right like 2 yrs ago i used to play on my home desktop nwn2 OC and performance was terrible so i just stopped, then i tried (downloaded, shame on me! ) MoTB and preformance was much better (like +10 fps); so now i decided to supprot and buy this game, just wanted to be sure....
