Cannot Install Patch 1.2

I'm encountering a problem when trying to install Patch 1.2.

I had the game installed and patched to 1.2 some months ago, with no problems. After finishing it, I un-installed.

Re-installed last night, ran the patch-exe, but was told that the patch was already installed. The problem is though: The patch doesn't seem to work. I still get the bugs it was supposed to fix (like the Society of Leopold crash-to-desktop). I'm quite sure that the patch actually isn't affecting the game at all right now.

I have tried to un-install, delete the patch file manually, and re-install, but with exactly the same result.

What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could either remove any Bloodlines related stuff in the registry or try the unofficial patch which includes this fix.

So if I now execute the patch that updates the game from 1.2 to 5.8 (for example), the mentioned bugs will be fixed as well? I'll try that, thanks.

I never actually tried it but the leopold crash fix is included for sure.
