Officer Vai, where's she at?

Officer Vai, where's she at? (DIdn't get approached by the boy)

Heya.

I've been waiting to get approached by the little kid who says there's an officer in the Jovial Juggler's inn to see me, so I can sell off the Bandit's Scalps I've been collecting. Needless to say, this hasn't happened yet, and I'm wondering if I've missed something, as I've just flooded the mine and entered chapter 5.

You'res sincerely, Dereth.

Seeing her is entirely optional, but she's in the Jovial Juggler, as the boy said, which is located in Bergost.

Yeah, sorry, the title is a bit misleading, I'll get to that.

My problem is, the boy hasn't approached me, and Officer Vai isn't at the Jovial Juggler's. My it's not that much of a problem anymore, as I've sold the scalps to the wizard at High Hedge. :)

This is usually a problem with finishing off the mines quest. Did you take the letters and green potion from the mines to the mayor of Nashkel?
If you are playing Tutu, there can sometimes be a problem due to Mulahey panicking and running outside the room where you find him. If you kill him outside that room, you have to go back in to finish the chapter, even if you have all the items that you need.
Hope that this helps.
Further information would help such as mod info in order to be sure that the question has been answered to your satisfaction plus anyone else with a similar query.

Ah, I see - I'll go see if I can find Mulahey then, thanks.

Uhm, would you mind answerring another question regarding TotSC? My party is about level 7-8, how difficult would you say Durlag's Tower is? In comparison to the Ice Isle, which I've just completed. :)

I thought that some parts of it were pretty hard. I only had my PC (A fighter/mage/thief) Imoen (Thief) and Tiax (cleric/thief), but all of them reached the cap. I had to rest pretty often.

It is pretty hard, but not too bad if you have a good thief. I did it once starting at level1 just to see if I could. The only reason that I was able to do it at that level was that I knew what to expect and in Deder, I had the best thief in the game. The ice island is MUCH easier in my opinion.
