Hydragon

can anyone give me an idea as to where I can locate some Hydragon to make potions with in chapter 2 ? I have been everywhere that I could think of and no Hydragon to be found
I have bought several herb books but with no luck and they dont give them suckers away!

Books !!!! Read books !!!!

you must buy every single book about plants !!!! For the beginning try the Antiquary dwarf in the temple quarter !!! And after that if you have managed to get to Trade quarter then you should look for the book seller in the market area in the Trade Q ... Also you can try at the Druids grove in the Swamp forest;talk to the elder druid ... Eventually when you have red enough books some of them will provide information about almost every plant you can find in the game ...But you will have to check plants (hold L ALT) ... I am sure that you will find Hydragenum somewhere !!!! Oh yea you can also learn about monsters they also provide some ingredients !!!! I hope this will help you !!!! See ya man !!!!

The Old women of the Outskirts of Vizima also, for a mere 25 orens, tell you some plant lore.

Highly Unreliable, but occasionally useful.

Abagail, the Antiquary in the Tavern also sell books in the Outskirts, and the Hermit in the fields also has a few books.
