Limit for putting skill points aside?

Hi,

I noticed something strange, so here's the quick question: Is there a limit on how many skill points you can put aside?

The reason is, that I started not spending all my skill points (because later I wanted to get repair as a class skill and then spend the points on it). But suddenly, when I gained a level, I noticed that I only had 8 skill points total - but I should have 8 + 5 (as I saved 8 and gained 5 new).

Sometimes I noticed that when I level up, all my stats go into 8´s. That, unfortunately, also includes Intelligence and the amount of skill points you get in level-ups. So that might be a reason why you´re missing some points. Because you leveled up once with 8 in all stats and missed out on some points.
