Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Still need help here. Please
Thanks
I know all about the walkthrus here and other places..not new to them at all as I just finished Oblivion and NWN2.. I just dont see any where in them a mention of a key to get back to the courtyards. I am stuck inside KeerMorhen and everyone else is in the courtyard. My journal says to use the Aard Sign on the stones blocking the exit, but all I can find is a door that when clicked says locked. I have tried the Aard sign on the door and it doesnt work. I dunno
TIA if anyone knows.

It's possible that something in the tutorial broke for you. Did you use the Aard sign to clear the rubble in the basement laboratory? Right after doing that, you should have to choose between two tasks. If the rubble wasn't there, or if the choice didn't come up, then you're probably gong to have to load your game to an earlier point, or just start over.
