Need help on how to save on last part TLC!

ok let me present my scenario: Okay my hero has now finished collecting souls for the gate to jack to open. okay from there i enter, yada yada boom bang, jack is dead. okay i do watch the credits so i can play after. okay then i do some side quests find silver keys, and then i hero save the game into a slot. I end my day there. i log back on and i find myself back in Archon's shrine with the quest to collect souls, but all my silver keys from last times play are there. Please may someone help me with this?

I just want to know how to get the core quests finished and saved when i log back on to play like after a day.

You have to go to a place where you can do a World Save (which saves all quest progress, location of the hero and of course the hero himself) instead of a Hero Save (which just saves the hero and any items on his person).
